Policies and reader trust

Infolitico keeps its reader-facing policies in the product itself. Use this page as a map to the full policy pages; the linked pages are the authoritative versions, and the policy pages that carry revision dates show them in the page header.

AI disclosure

AI Disclosure explains that automated systems help draft, edit, check, illustrate, and publish faith-framed stories from real public source events. A story requires a source-event record, and automated guards reject problems such as fabricated Scripture, partisan framing, prosperity-gospel language, and inaccurate sourcing. The page also explains the human removal path and its limits: automated checks reduce risk, but do not make the publication infallible.

Corrections and retractions

Retractions and Unpublishing Requests is the contact path for a factual error, misattributed quote, misrepresentation, privacy concern, or another removal request. Send the story URL to retractions@infolitico.com. The product page asks for a short reason, says that requests receive a response within 24 hours, and says that the story is unpublished on request.

A story route can show a Correction notice when a correction is recorded. A retracted story URL instead shows a Retraction notice explaining that the story is no longer available. Both notices link back to the corrections policy. The Editorial Standards page states the underlying commitment: correct promptly, and unpublish on request when a story falls short of the standards.

Community standards

Community Standards applies to the separate Infolitico-hosted Reader Feed discussion. Reader comments do not write to Reddit, and reader email addresses are not displayed. Participants should address ideas rather than identity or presumed motives and must not post harassment, threats, personal information, impersonation, repeated promotions, or deceptive links. A comment may contain no more than two links and should not be repeated.

Reports request human review; they do not automatically hide a comment. Operators may hide or restore a comment only through a confirmed workflow that records an immutable audit entry. Automated rate, duplicate, and link checks reject a post openly rather than silently publishing and concealing it. Send questions or appeals to hello@infolitico.com.

Privacy

Privacy Policy describes cookies and browser storage, consent-gated analytics and diagnostics, server and security logs, Feed sign-in and discussion records, newsletter consent, third-party services, and reader choices. The policy says that passwordless email sign-in is used only for the separate Reader Feed discussion; Infolitico does not sell reader data, display sign-in email addresses, or send local comments to Reddit. It also explains the pseudonym shown on public comments and the contact paths for account or privacy requests.

Terms of service

Terms of Service govern use of the site, Reader Feed discussion, morning newsletter, and related content policies. The terms explain that Infolitico stories pair a real, source-anchored event with a spiritual reflection and that the reflection is editorial perspective, not a statement of fact. They also cover professional-advice limits, intellectual property, third-party links, reader comments, newsletter double opt-in, optional reader support, disclaimers, and contact addresses.

Shared edition

How the Edition Works explains the edition's non-personalized model. Infolitico publishes one shared edition for every reader rather than changing story selection or ordering based on arrival source, a political label, or a personal profile. It says the site does not build a cross-web identity profile or use hidden political preferences to decide what a reader sees.
